Many teachers think that it is not trustful that the students gain information from colleagues because nothing can truly replace a collaborative classroom, however, a good social networking site is a great source for sharing and gaining ideas.
Those social networking sites help teachers to approach students, because the student use facebook or myspace very often, even the poor students, in addition, the students have many comments in different topics, so the teachers can always see the comments and feedback of students, it can help the teacher to know more about what the students things.
As a teacher, I do think that social networking site can help the students and teachers to build up a better relationship, in case of the better social networking site teachers can chat with the students without facing, so the students may not have the pressure of talking to teachers, and teachers can discuss with the students in different factors and role, act as their friends.

1)Why teeagers spend a lot of time on the use of
social networking sites?It is because they want to chatting with friends on
msn,some teenage like to write blog to share their
life.For example,Xanga,facebook,twitter......and it
can also kown more about their friends,their brith
date,dating status,our their family member.So that
teeagers spend a lot of time on the use of social
networking sites.

relationship closer?The reason why the social networking sites make the
peer relationship closer is because in the social
networking sites,there will have many current event
topic.ANd they will disscuss about that, can make
peers have more topics to talk about ,then make them
closet.

3) What do you think about the potential problems
behind the social networking sites?I think the potential problems behind the social
networking is we will lost our private.On the social
networking sites we need to inform our personal
information,For example,ID number,phone
number,address.....and

A: Yes, i think those social networking sites canfoster the positive relationship between polices and citizens, because the relationship will be more closer and it ca fight crime.

Q2: On the other hand, how the social networking sites harm the social harmony?
A: On the other hand the social networking will harm harmony, because it can bring some unhealthy information to the teens. So, it will affect the emtional of the teens.

A: I do not think social networking sites can decrease the social problem as the community relationship are becoming closer, because on the internet, someone will harm you.

Q1: How do the parents think about the positive and negative sides of the social networking sites?
A: The positive sites are it can know more informations, also it can watch the news, movies etc. in the social networking sites. Moreover, it may find their old friends through the network. Can know their childs' secret on the internet.the negative sides of the social networking sites are it may receive some negative informations in the social networking sites. And it is difficult to use the social networking sites.

Q2: As a parent, how do you think about the influence of social networking sites towards the relationship between teens and family?
A: The teens may feel us annoying because we always tell them don't play on the social networking sites, and it cannot help the studies. Also, if we know their secrets in the social networking sites, they will hate us because they will think the social networking sites is the place that they can communicate with friends, not the parents.If this feel this long time, our relationship will bad.

Q3: How can the parents understand more about their children through the social networking sites?
A: They can make a account to check or see their children on the social networking sites. Also, they can ask their childrens' teacher, because they may add their teacher be friends on the social networking sites, but I think it is a not good or correct way to understand more.

Q4: If there are conflicts between family and children, how the social networking sites help to release the problems/ make it worse?
A: It will make it worse because the conflict may be made by the teens always use the computer. And if family and children have conflicts, why don't you solve the problem face to face? Moreover the social networking sites just is the communication tools, it can solve problems, but not all problems.
